I was squeezing my head trying to figure out the best birthday present for my better half for weeks. This will be the 13th birthday that we celebrated together and I have got him mostly everything that he needs. So, I am running out of ideas!!! I finally has this idea to get him a gift pack which will consists some stuff that he loves...
So, that consists of :
CDs - Search Live in Planet Hollywood
Anuar Zain(2 different type of music from the 2 band and singer that he loves the most)
2 shirts from Timbaland and Seeds
a pair of crocs sandal
The birthday card that I gave him, I personally love the wording!
I packed all in a box purchased from Memory Lane...
Me and the cuties took him to A & W and sang the birthday song to him right at 12 midnite sharp and he loves the surprise.
The next day, my dad held a birthday bbq party at his pondok. That was fun plus lots of fun on the table!!!
The generation of men in my family, my dad, my brother, my better half and my hero!
Let me give a brief(brief ke? yeah right) intro on my better half...
I first met my better half when I was in Form 4, he was a staff of my mom. At that time, no spark yet since I was busy having fun with people of my age. My better half is 8 years older than me and he is the eldest of 5 sibblings. He was a shy person and everytime I talk to him, he will be looking the other way or pretend to be busy with something. Maybe because I am the boss's daughter...
While waiting to start a new semester in college, I worked part time and the same place and this was where everything started. There was this event held at a Theme Park and I got 2 free tickets and no one to take. So, I cheekily asked him and at first he declined. I found out that he said no because he has not that much cash and thought I was high maintenance....I then persuaded him and finally he said yes!
That so called date was the turning point from our "daughter-of-boss-and-boss-staff" relationship to something very special. We started to go out very often and spend loads of time together...we finally got engaged and then married. I was still studying then and he was very patient and supportive about everything..
We went through a lot of obstacles and there was one time that I really pity him and asked him to leave me since all the commotion going around were too much for both of us. I felt that he deserved something better. But, he refursed and told me that he will still wait for me...Alhamdulilah, kalau dah jodoh, nothing can actually stop ketentuan Allah...
We have now been married for nearly 11 years and blessed with the cuties. He is a great father, a great friend and has been my shoulder to cry on. I can't imagine to go through a day without him by my side. We went through the good and bad times together. There were times that we don't have that much money and survived 1 week before pay day eating nothing but poridge.
Abang,
If you are reading this, I want you to know that I love you sooo much and am so glad you are the one that Allah has choose for me. I couldn't asked for anything more. Thanks for being there, keeping me sane and showing me that things happen for a reason and Allah has His reason when He gave or take something from us.
I admired your courage, being able to tone down my parent which will never be an easy task...turning from hatred to loads of love. That is something very noble for you to still have great respects towards them after what they have done to you.
I love you for being a good father, for being there for the cuties and for guiding them in many aspects of their life.
Most of all, I love you for everything and will always pray to Allah we will be together forever...
Happy Birthday Sayang!!
