New dressing table

After nearly 8 months moving into our new home, we finally got ourselves a new dressing table. Time and budget contraints are the 2 main reason for the delay. Besides, we just haven't find the right one.

We went to Nilai 3 one weekend and went ahead to make this purchase. It did not come in a set, we bought the table and the mirror separately. Both cost us less than RM200, which is not bad. As for the chair, I am currently using the dining table chair.

If you notice, apart from the stuff which are suppose to be on a dressing table, there is also my laptop and work related stuff. Which shows, I also need another working table. And bedside table to put the lamp shade which was bought ages ago during the Macy warehouse sale.

Kalau the awaited "B" really comes within this couple of months, this can be purchased much sooner than I planned ;)

Eifel Tower in Nilai??

Sorry for the long delay in posting. Apart from respecting a friend who just lost her beloved husband, and having to think the future of her 3 small children on her own...will blog about that later...

Prior to receiving the devastating news, we were at Nilai3 as we wanted to make some purchases for an event that we are about to attend the day after. We have been frequenting Nilai 3 to buy most of our housing needs, from groceries to dry products. It's like 10 minutes drive from our house.

And we were so shocked to see an imitation of Eifel Tower just before the entrance of Nilai 3. When did they build this? Hari tu takde pun....

Nampaknyer, Nilai3 is getting more happening by day...

The curtain

One of the things that managed to be completed was the curtain.
We came across this shop, Fiona during our trip there. The price was reasonable and they don't charge the upah fee, so you just pay for the material.
They came late July to measure the whole house and then we went to the shop to choose the materials. The workmanship was really good!! Siap ada buat hook for the tempat gantung.
I was very happy and satisfied with the whole outcome. For me, it was worth every penny that I paid to them. And should we decide to change the curtain next year(wah, dah berangan nampak), I will not hesitate to engage them again.

The day off!!

I took a day off last week, if I tell you why, you may want to puke...But the truth is, I
wanted to spend time with my better half. I have been busy with work that I felt I have been neglecting my family. So, one step at a time and my first step was to spend the whole day with my darling.......
We had a good breakfast and then had a tour around Bandar Baru Bangi, soon to be our new hang out place. Better be familiar on the surroundings.....
We had made many appointments today. We need to check on the status of all the vendors that we have engaged with.
My better half is still not over with the plan to have a fish pond at this area. And my answer is still a big NO!! Nanti saper nak bersihkan, busuk tau....

We then headed to Nilai 3, main intention to purchase curtains for the house as well as to buy lights and fans for the house. We had this curtain shop to measure and make the curtains for the whole house. The price was quite ok considering the shop is having this promo where we don;t have to pay for the upah jahit.

With all this excitement, we forgot we haven't taken our lunch and it's already 4pm. We had our very late lunch at the Nilai 3 Food Court, siap entertained lagi with karaoke singing. The question is....were we entertained....I reserved my comment....

I had a fabulous time with my better half. Alhamdulilah, both of us are so into making sure the house is well decorated so we don't mind doing this on our off day.....
