Zaza's birthday @ Chillis

This celebration was a pre-birthday celebration. Zaza's real birthday is this coming Thursday, but since Fadzillah will not be around that day, and I will not be around Monday till Wednesday, so to celebrate it a week earlier was the most sensible thing to do.

Zaza is a sister I have known since 2005, the day I interviewed her. When she join shortly after that, we became close via Fadzillah whose husband was Zaza's classmate.

Though we don't see each other that frequent, that goes to my other sisters at the place I work at, I will still make it a point to celebrate their birthdays.

We decided to go to Chillis cause they offer free birthday cake(a slice only ya!) for the birthday girl. Fadzillah and I went there early to book the table and Zaza arrived later.

Banyak nyer food, sape nak makan nie...Ended up we tapaued some of the food after that.

The singing and blowing the candles ceremony where the whole Chillis staff sang for Zaza, one of the reason why we love doing birthdays at Chillis.

To Zaza, we may not be as close as we were before, and that is purely because the hecticness of our job nature. Nevertheless, I have not stop caring for all my sisters, though it may be perceived differently. Take good care of yourself and all the best. Lastly, congrats on the promo!

Lunch Date with K Red

It was an impromtu lunch appointment. She sent me a message asking whether nak catch up for lunch tak? Since I am not doing anything, I told her ok...

Just an intro, I know K Red since 2005, even before I joined the company that we are working at now. We then just click and the friendship continues from there. We do have our disagreement, ada ler gaduh skit2 but never to the extend of jeopardising our friendship. I know many things have been said about her here in my office but for me, I don't make judgement based on others experience. If she(or anyone I know) is good and nice to me, there's no reason why I shouldn't treat her the same. Similar concept kalau this person baik dgn satu dunia but treated me badly, I don't categories that person as a good person). And so far, as a friend, she has never failed to be there when I need her. One thing about her she is very blunt but she mean it in an honest way, not so much about trying to ruin people, but more on trying to tell you something you did wrong. And I appreciate that in a friendship....This is my personal opinion yer, as you are entitle to your opinion, I believe I do so kan, so jgn pulak lepas nie kita yg tak bertegur saper ok?

I am still on diet, so order memang banyak giler but ate only tak sampai half of it. When I go to Chillis, I don't usually order the main course, I like order the salad, soup and the Chillis...makan dgn the crackers, memang best!

We talked and talked and talked. Mostly about our lives. We did some catching up about the new work I am doing and other blogging stuff.

Jgn risau, though diet, I will eat what I want to eat but in a moderate manner. Like this morning, I feel like having nasi lemak for breakfast, so I did just that. Tapi, order pun nasi separuh jer... Lepas tu kenalah exercise...Crash diet nie not healthy lah!

Chillis Action

We wanted to go to Pavillion last Friday, wanted to grab some Carls Junior as we have been craving for that since the fasting month. However, with meetings that need to be attended to, and having all this back to back, that just didn't happen.

Lunch hour which was supposed to start at 12.15pm on Friday, only started at 1.15pm due to the work load. Nak buek camno, work first, fun later.

So, the next best thing will be Chillis...

The four of us, me, Cik Puan Ambang, Ms Money Matter and Mrs GREEN went on this crusade to search for good food.

We ordered quite a lot. Yup, we know membazir itu kerja syaitan and will try to be better at ordering in future. Anyway, all the leftoovers were tapau'ed and eaten by the hungry boys in the office....

But, don't think we forgotten about Carl's Junior...this Friday yer....Insyallah!

Overdue Birthday

This is an entry on Mrs Green's birthday celebration. Mrs Green is a Merdeka baby. However, we decided to surprise her and celebrated her birthday a week earlier. So, when we asked her out for lunch, she didn't suspect anything.

As usual, the venue will always be Chillis. We ordered so much food, I think nearly 50% of the venue.

When the cake was brought in and the Chillis staff started singing, Mrs Green sang along when she saw us singing. She thought we were just being sporting singing one of the Chillis patronage.

Anyway, I am so sorry my dear friends for the delay in the entry...I totally forgotten about it until I was going through the pics in my desktop. But better late than never kan??

Happy Birthday Ms Money Matters

After over due by nearly 2 weeks, we finally managed to organised Ms Money Matters birthday. It was a busy season(like pernah tak busy) for everyone so this lunch itself was quite a challenge to organise.

And of course, we choose Chillis cause we wanna have free delicious birthday cake. And the cake don't have to be a big cake, as long as cukup for sikit sama dirasa.

I was joined by William, Mr Info and Azrul. Ms GTL was still not well, and the rest were not able to join.

Ms Money Matters arrived later than the rest of us so we ordered on her behalf to ensure that the food arrive on time.

Dear Ms Money Matters, we wish you nothing but for your happiness. You have a been a great friend whom never failed to be there when I need someone. Have a good future ahead and God Bless!

When bloggers meet

I know k red, lil^red and ak143, lambat giler buat this entry, well...not intentional but very the busy. The previous entry pun I did it in one day and set schedule to publish.

Anyway, on Monday, I had one of the greatest lunch that I have ever had. With laugh, good food and good company, what more would you ask for.

I did not take any pictures, since the other 3 did that already. So, all the pics are courtesy of my blogger frens.

I never knew blogging can be so much fun, having friends from all walk of life and getting to know people who you would not be able to meet in normal circumstances.

But the embarassing was, the ladies brought giftf for me and I did not get them anything. Though gift from K Red siap ada tanda harga gitew...tanda2 nak claim balik ker...

But guys, seriously, I had so much fun. Best giler, and love the gifts...

We should have this kind of gathering more often ya!

My hero's birthday bash

We celebrated my hero's birthday on Monday and we chose to celebrate it at Chillis. He was very excited about it. Since I had an external meeting today, I took the opportunity to went home straight. Don't want to be late for this.

My hero is very passionate about science so we bought him a microscope set. He loves it and wanted to use it immediately. I told him not to since this came with many parts, so he might drop one...

Happy Hour

For the how many times, the cravings for Chillis came again. So, I invited a bunch of frens that happened to went out late for lunch to come with me.

There were 5 of us but we ordered like there's more of us. We ate, we laughed, we gossiped, then we ate again and laughed and gossiped...until my face and stomach hurts!!

That was another good therapy. Having lunch with a good bunch that can be a good company. It reminds you, we still have good, nice and honest people around...

Netball - The celebration

Our kapitan decided to give us a treat, though we only got second place. This is due to the fighting spirit potrayed and one Director was quoted "We should confer them the King Leonidas award for the heart they put in!"

So, we had the grand extravaganze celebration at Chillis and I am so glad that all able to attend even our coach. I know the importance of team spirit and that is the most crucial part of the game.

Makan tak payah nak cakap...memang macam tak ingat...I think we ordered practically everything in the menu. From appetizers like buffolo wings and nachos, to main course like ribs, steak and salads to dessert, of course malton cake is a must. It's like a ritual whenever we visits Chillis.

All and all, we had a blast, full of laughters, well too much of that, to the extend my face hurt by the end of the dinner!

Too many to tell

Actually, I have many things that I want to share with all, many things that happen in my life on daily basis, just wish I have more time to blog them all.

One of the events that occured last week was the celebration of 2 guys that I know very well at work. One of them, Mr Ustaz, who is also my staff and another one, Mr Info, someone that's already like one of my staff considering he is always here in our unit.

We love to have birthday celebrations at Chillis, because of the lively environment and for those who don't know this, Chillis gives free birthday desert for this purpose. It was fun and of course full of laughter. By the time the event is over, not only we were full, we were also tired from all the laughing....

One of the things that I will miss in this company....

Lunch with workmate

We had this appreciation lunch for our 3 adorable single guys that has been giving 100% commitment during the preparation for the jamboree..

We decided to bring them to Chillis...

Cik Puan Ambang did the ordering...never mess with a hungry pregnant woman!! She will order whatever on the menu!!! Mrs Green buat2 busy ler konon...

I miss having this boys around. When they left, I was quite upset and knows that it will be different without having this guys around...J and Allan has always been a good companion to fight about football, both are MU supporter...

While Kayob has always been a good friend, a good listener and a good brother. Always there when I need him...

We had lunch yesterday at Chillis and I dragged GTL and Cik Puan Ambang along. We had good laughs, b****ing about some people and of course argue about football. Wish abang ngah was there as well since I seriously need back up!!!

Anyway, hope will be meeting them again, since Kayob promised to bring me to the Kelantan fod place in Kg Bharu...
