We survived the first day

Bangun cepat, nanti bas telepas!!!

That's me screaming at the top of my lung to the my princess and my hero. Even top of my lung is an understatement. Considering yesterday was the first day of all the ever imagined hectic happening we did pretty well. My princess and my hero got on the bus on time despite my princess running to the bus just wearing her socks and carrying her shoes, she did pretty well. Me and my better half got to work on time as well, in fact earlier than schedule.

Work was ok, but a bit busy since few things has been pending as I was not around to handle them. Alhamdulilah, I managed to finish some things via working from home last week since I have anticipated if I don't do that, I will end up going home late. That will certainly crushed one of the New Year resolution and it's only the 7th day of 2008.

LRT was crazy yesterday...If I were to que, I think I will only be able to ride on the LRT after the 6th train so I did what most creative people do, I took 2 trains to the opposite direction and then changed station and took the other train to my destination. Not only I can get in, I can sit and enjoy the company of my CLEO magazine...Yes, I do read CLEO magazine since 10 years ago...ok aper???

By the time I got home, more screaming action. Getting the cuties to bath, have their dinner, solat maghrib, finish their homework, solat isya and off to bed. The cuties are still trying to adjust their bed time so in order to ensure that they went to bed at 9pm and sleep at 9pm, me and my better half have to be on stand by and sit on the bed. For future parents...going to bed by definition does not mean to be sleeping...

All and all...we did not do too bad on our first day...few more hundred days to go....
