My Baby is going to be 7 years old in less than 2 weeks time. We had this chat last nite while her brother and sister went for their usual tuition class. I was asking her since she is already 7, would she want to be called by her name or we maintain her nama glamour as Baby. Her answer was plain simple, she can be called Baby but not in public. I understood what she meant immediately but I just want to probe further. I asked for further definition. And this is her exact answer ....
Kalau dalam rumah ke kereta ke, mama panggil baby, tapi kalau kat kedai ke Subang Parade ke, mama panggil Aliya...
Baby being the youngest, had always been the apple of everyone'e eyes. Not that we love my hero and my princess any lesser but you know what I mean. She has always been the spontaneous one not afraid to speak up and always have very interesting answers. She is never afraid to be herself and never actually bother what people thinks of her. I think those who are close to my family would know and notice this. In one word, she is very UNIQUE!
She is not like the typical girlie type. She does not play with dolls, she is not into main masak masak but more towards the boyish activities. Maybe because she is very attached to my hero. She loves to say Baby gang abang!
When baby started her primary 1, I was more emotional that anyone else. How time flies, I still felt like I have just given birth to her, cuddling her, doing our baby talks and carry her around. Even now I still have the baby talk with her....
My wish that she will grow up with all the happiness around her. I hope she knows how much we love her and that she'll get to be what she want(for now she wants to be pembuat roti canai after our teh tarik session last night)
As I have always said before...My baby is growing up :(

she reminds me of me when i was a kid...tak suka doll, tak suka main masak2..suka panjat pokok main askars and i hate pink..
tengoklah apa jadik bila dah besar...very much into handbags and shoes...and now my favorite color is pink..semua gelakkan sebab dah jadik feminin..
alas, i wanted to be a stewardess just because i love the kebaya uniform..
hopefully your baby ill grow up to become a bright and beautiful girl..

shay - i was like that too, but now dah jadik girlie skit lah but still some characters masih melekat, like football fanatic and many more..
