We managed to visit to quite prominent makan2 place around Batu Pahat and Muar area.
One is this place Nasi Ayam Haji Ali located from Parit Raja on the way to Ayer Hitam. The main dish of course is a no brainer.....Nasi Ayam ler...
Apart from that, this place also serves the goreng2 stuff like mee, meehon and the soupy stuff made from the same type of noodles.
The food?? Ok ler, nothing to shout about....They also have otak2...also, not that great...
On the way to KL, we decided to use the old trunk road, as part of our ubah cara hidup

If you are not a local, you will definitely get lost. The signage was really bad. We were lucky cause my better half's uncle who lives in the area showed us the way. As a treat, we took them out for lunch as well.
Again, the food was not what it was perceived to be. I've tasted better...
Off we're back to KL.....using the new bridge at Muar...I can say the trip back was just like using the highway minus the traffic and the toll of course
