A well spent Saturday

Work has been overwhelming and this workload usually spilled to the after office hours i.e. either later at night or over the weekend. Due this circumstances, I have to really plan carefully. What time I need to allocate for cooking, for housework and for other related stuff. And my dream to be a successful blogger, which I know something I have to really work hard for. It's not impossible, just need to work hard and time management is very crucial.
Saturday is an important day for me. Not only I have to complete the house chores, I also need to make sure I spend sufficient time with the cuties.
It will usually start with breakfast. FYI, for those who don't know yet, my better half works on Saturday hence life on Saturday with him will usually starts at 2pm. Last Saturday, I just tapaued food, some nasi lemak and kuih. My hero helped to serve the food and this was his creation, karipap berdonut.

Later, once my better half came home from work, we left to send the cuties to Holiday Villa, there's a magic show workshop conducted which we have pre-registered for this. While waiting for the cuties, I tried to do some work at the nearest Mcd, trying to get Wi-Fi access. When we picked the cuties up, they told us it was a boring session and not interactive at all. Kesian.....

Then, we lepaked at Subang Parade, been quite some time since we went there. Had late lunch at Yanti Rasa Thai, ordered Nasi Goreng Cina and Cantonese Kuey Teow. We were really full when we left that place, my better half was the most full one, he even had Sago Gula Melaka for desert.

We hang out at MPH, I bought some books for the cuties, of course, Cleo for me. Again, lepaked at Book Cafe to get some work done using their Wi-Fi.
It was indeed a long Saturday but well spent. Now...what should we do on Sunday...Hmmmmm.....

The gathering

My brother who lives in Malacca is coming over today for a visit. The last time I saw him was during Aidilfitri and I am very excited to see him. While waiting for him to arrived, my better half wanted to go to the Pasar Tani located in the parking compund of Shah Alam stadium. It's been ages since we went there. This Pasar Tani is huge, to cover all areas will take alot of time not to mention energy. Since we already know what we are looking for, we went straight to the section. Yup, I forgot to mention, this Pasar Tani is segregated into areas for easy "browsing through". There are the wet market section, clothing section, plant section and many more. And you thought only hypermarket is well organised. We grabbed a pair of short pants for my better half, a few tudungs(cap Arzu lagik tau!!) and some magazines for the the cuties. We love getting the older edition of children magazines here since it will be sold for like 50 cents each.
My brother arrived at around 2pm.
My dad so excited to see his grandson...
My mom cooked a feast for us and declined any help from anyone. She said, it's been a while that she has all her 3 children under one roof and she wanted this to be special. She prepared ikan bakar with her famous air asam, sambal sotong, masak lemak pucuk geti with ala2(this is a traditional food inherited from my arwah grandmother), roast chicken(marinated overnight), ikan masin and of course sambal belacan. I tried to control my apettite and dalam control tu pun tambah sampai 2 kali!! Nothing beats mom's cooking.
The food endorsed as delicious by my princess.
We didn't get to take the cuties for swimming as schedule, it rained in the evenings. It's too hot to go in the afternoon. So, after my brother left, we took them to MPH Subang Parade. We had dinner there as well.
We dropped by the petrol station to fill up the tank as we foresee it's gonna be a very hectic Monday considering it's our first day of working while the cuties are schooling...Wish us luck...
