Where's my unagi??

The place?
Sushi King...
The occassion
RM2 ringgit per plate, which ever plate on the conveyor belt...
This proves my theory Malaysian are so into bargain hunting
We are a regular at this outlet and never had to que, but last nite we had to wait for about 20 minutes before we got a sit.
My hero insist to wait for the unagi, only he and his father eat this. He waited and waited and waited...so we waited and waited and waited...
Till my better half can't wait anymore so he called the waiter.
At last, he got the unagi...

This is partly what we ate....All together 25 plates, ok ler tu for 5 pax..
And at last, we got to go home...

Hari Raya Qurban - The Celebration

My better half and me so far alhamdulilah, never had any fight when it comes to where we should be celebrating our Raya, irregardless what Raya. We always have this mutual understanding whether it's at Kelana Jaya or Batu Pahat on rotation basis. After nearly 11 years of being married, so far so good...

This year, for Raya qurban it's Kelana Jaya's turn. It has been a ritual during Raya nite for the men to go from one house to another to do the takbir raya. It was nearly 12 midnite when the orang surau arrived at my parent's house. We only prepared some cakes as we already know our house will be one of the last houses that people will come and they will be full eating at other houses by the time they reach our house.

My hero citing the prayer.

We always start early during Raya. My better half will bath the cuties and teach them how to recite the "niat" for mandi sunat Raya. Once the cuties are ready, we went to the mosque for Raya prayers.

For this year, there were 7 cows for slaughtering. I don't like to watch this part of Raya qurban and will be at home watching TV instead. The cuties and my better half will proceed to the slaughtering area. This year, my better half was part of the commitee for the slaughtering. It ended around 1pm just right before Zuhur prayers.

At nite, we decided to go to Subang Parade and have sushi, then desert at Mcd. And what's a trip to Mcd without allowing the cuties to play at the play land...

The cuties are growing up faster than I want them to be...Maybe it's time to prepare myself that one day, I will need to let them go to experience other parts in their life like hanging out with their frens, going for camping trips and moving out to live on their own....hu hu hu!!! Allah gives strength to face that please!!!

Sushi, yummy!

I never eaten japanese food before, never had the guts I guess. I am not adventurous about food, I hate to try things that I have never eaten before. And japanese food is one of the things on this long list.

But, recently, suddenly I have enough courage to try it.
I will always have the california rolls and the crab stick thingy as the starter, of course with green tea
Try the japs version of sotong goreng tepung
But, belum hard core lagik yer, still the cooked ones. Not to the sashimi level yet but will get there some day. Japs food is healthy and it makes good dinner. I have this at least once every 2 weeks. And my better half, being a good life companion, will again melayan my kerenah.

My better half will always order set meal since the one on the conveyer belt are never enuff for him
