Cameron - On the way back

On the way back after checking out, we dropped by at Kea Farm. This is a famous market where we can buy veges and other Cameron related stuff.
And we also dropped by at Lata Iskandar, another famous landmark at Tapah. I used to go to this place while I was studying in Trolak.
The rest of the pics are the other stopped by we made to purchase more stuff khas untuk memberatkan kereta...We also stopped to by at the Cameron Bharat tea place, the one we dropped by earlier but it was close.
In a nutshell, we had a lovely time at Cameron, though many people felt funny when I said I genuinely had a good time. Marilah cuti2 Malaysia!!!

Cameron - Pluck your own strawberry lah!

Our final day here, sob sob sob....before going back to our hectic daily routine...

The cuties has been wanting to go to this strawberry farm, that allow the visitors to pick and pluck their own strawberry. It's located right after Brinchang, before arriving Kea Farm.
This place charged RM40 per kilo. The cuties were really loving this....plucking away and was really accurate in terms of weight. Precisely, they plucked 1kg of strawberry!

We also bought some other strawberry based food, here, strawberry dip in chocolate is not a luxury food, you can see this everywhere and anywhere.
So, to my friends and families who are able to taste the strawberry, remember...it was self picked and plucked by the cuties so rasa lebih sedap dari biasa kan!!

Cameron - Yummy Strawberry

Another must in the checklist for Cameron visit, Strawberry place. We went to 2 of such and this one is the one located in the heart of Brinchang.
We were shown how strawberry was planted and how they took care of the strawberries. They even have a shop here that sold all kinds of strawberry related cafe. Also planted here are the hydroponic(betul ke spelling nie?) vegetables.
We enjoyed having a drink at their cafe, having strawberry fried ice cream, strawbeery milkshake and pancake with cream and strawberry. The strawberry are all fresh plucked from the tree straight to the kitchen.
The cuties as usual making lots of noise, so there's this Arab couple went to our table and we thought, that's it lah, mesti kena marah sebab bising.
But actually, the husband wanted to take photo with the cuties. They are on their honeymoon and trying to have a baby as soon as possible so kira nak ambik berkat. Funny, usually after looking at the cuties punyer perangai, some have second thoughts of having kids, nie lagi motivated pulak!
Penat lah, balik hotel, solat dulu.......

Cameron - Cactus Point

If you have been to Cameron, it is a must to look for cactus and if possible to purchase some. And that's what we did.

There's this place called Cactus Point, no entry charge for this.
They have all type of cactus, from the tiniest to the biggest one either in pot or planted in the garden. Some even bigger than me, and I my friend, is indeed a BIG person....
We allowed the cuties to choose cactus for them to bring home and for them to nuture in our new home. My princess chose the one that she claimed look like Mickey Mouse.

So, what's next?

Cameron - Boh Ada Ummph

We woke up early on the second day. Have few things scheduled today.

First destination was the largest tea plantation in Cameron, Sungai Palas Boh Plantations. This is bigger than this that we visited earlier.
Driving towards the destination is very challenging. The road was very narrow and if there's other cars coming from the opposite direction, we have to take turns to pass through.

But, when you arrived at the destination, you'll see the drive is very much worth it!
We were taken for a tour inside the tea factory. There, we learnt how tea was processed and to our surprise the packaging is done in Banting!! Tak pernah tau pun.......
See the cuties monyok face while having tea here, baru lepas bergaduh kena marah dgn papa...Bercucuran air mata si Baby.

This is the best place that I visited in Cameron Highlands. Having tea overlooking the tea plantation was simply superb. So refreshing and so relaxing. If there's rezeki in future, and we come again to Cameron, I will never want to miss visiting this place.

Cameron - Durian Time

Our search for durian berhasil nampaknyer, we got it near our hotel. This chinese man was selling durian that has been packed hence the chances to get durian busuk is pretty slim.

We bought 4 big packets, for RM22 which was really cheap. The first price was RM28 but we negotiated and the fact that I knew how to speak simple cantonis really made the man happy and agreed to sell us at this price. Actually, RM28 was already cheap but what can I say, we just love to bargain.
My better half, just cannot stop recording us having fun!

There's this playground in front of the hotel, so we had the durian there. After which, the cuties enjoyed themselves playing there.

So far, so good....So, dinner kat mana yer???

Cameron - Tea everywhere!!!

Tea leaves to be exact. After the bee farm, we went back to the hotel for prayers and right after Asar we went out again, this time was to search for durian. We thought of eating durian at the road side and chilling out for a while. However, during our search, we came across this place which is not in the check list of places to visit.
It 's the Cameron Valley. I thought there is only one tea place that is Boh which is in the checklist. Actually there's 2. And this is the other one.
We dropped by to enjoy the view. The cafe was close so we won't be able to sip the tea while enjoying the view.
The cuties love this place, my princess was quoted saying, Mama, tetap nie sejuk mata memandang....She is definately watching too much of the malay drama with her Wan....

Cameron - It's a bee's life

Quite near from the butterfly park is the bee's place. The entrance for this place is FOC, really suits us very well, particularly me and my better half.
The moment we walked down the steep stairs, we were welcomed by this notice, which I made the cuties read out loud so that they know should anything happen to them because they couldn't keep their hand to themselves, they will be solely responsible for it! I think the message couldn't be louder or clearer!
The queen bee, baby loves this so much, she said it reminds her of Bee, The Movie.

This is where the bees stay. This place has specific time to collect the honey. We bought 2 tub of the original honey, and take it from me who don't take sweet stuff, those honey are delicious and it's good replacement of cough mixture.
So, what's next...stay tune.....

Cameron - Butterfly Park

The first destination was the Butterfly Park located near Kea Farm. We didn't get the chance to go to the one in KL as we felt the ticket was overpriced, at least I felt that way. RM17 just to look at butterfly? Nope, doesn't work for me.

The one here is more reasonably priced. RM 5 for adult and RM2 for children. That's more like it.

And we were very pleased that they not only have butterfly, they also have other creatures being exhibited like insects (namely scorpion, bugs and things that makes me so geli one!!), reptiles and garden of roses, hence every penny spent here was very worth it.

My baby wanted to do this the moment we set foot at the park, and when we were about to step out, one butterfly was kind enough to make her wish comes true.

The one that caught my attention, a black rose...sorry, gambar blur skit, al-maklumlah, camera murah....

Cameron - The beginning

As blogged earlier, we arrived around 11am and checked in immediately. We decided not to spend much money so we only booked one room. We requested for one extra bed. We stayed at Century Pines Resort, a place in Tanah Rata. The room was quite spacious overlooking the Tanah Rata town and some greenary, nice view. My only complain was the air cond in this room can't be adjusted to the temperature that we want, is either you on the air cond or you off it.
Once the extra bed was ready and delivered, we went out for lunch at Brinchang Food Court. We decided to have lunch there since the places that we planned to visit are within that area.
How was the food?? All I can say, nothing to shout about, and more expensive than KL!!!
