My new toy - HP Mini 1000

I am not a gadget person. I think people who knows me can vouch to that. I will always go for something which look nice and I will not be embarrassed seen using it. After all, who wants to be seen with a hideous object while surfing in a prominent cafe in KL kan?

After receiving some rezeki extra last week, I know I have to make a quick decision before I start to spend the money buying things I will regret later. I have save some in ASB and Tabung Haji and some extra funds for the cuties bank account, I had some extra balance left so I thought to give myself a treat by purchasing a netbook, the smaller version of a laptop.

I did some research(actually, my brother Iwan did and I asked and "harassed" the friendly guys in our IT department) and they have recommended me this HP Mini 1000. I fell in love with this just by looking at the brochure and I know I must have one!

Since my brother is also in the IT line, he offered me this good deal. One HP Mini 1000 complete with the bag and mouse plus an external hard drive 250 gig at RM2000. He also did all the installing for the netbook.

This arrived yesterday and I love it already. It's so light, small and compact that it can even fit in my handbag!

I have been wanting to blog more seriously and frequently and hence by purchasing this gadget would take blogging as far as I am concern to a greater level.

A delayed and advance birthday celebration

So many things going on in our life. So good, some bad, and that's how life should be.

With all this going on, sometimes things just could not happen as scheduled. Just like the celebration for my 2 little girls birthday.

We celebrated their birthday not on time. Baby's birthday was celebrated more than a week late and princess's birthday was a day early. We combined this 2 celebrations in one since it's only over a week apart.

We had the celebration back at my parent's place in Kelana Jaya. Just a simple celebration with take out food like sate, fried mee hoon and other delicious stuff. Iwan and family was there as well to join the fun.

My hero led the doa recital. He is really getting better at this.

We planned another big celebration later in May Insyallah to celebrate the cuties birthday(my hero's will be early June). It ala again depends on the "B". With "B", the event may be bigger.

Having dinner with family is simply priceless.......

Another birthday celebrations

Yup, spot on. Another birthday celebration. This time is Iwan's wifey birthday. Unfortunately I have to work late. So, did not get the chance to prepare for anything. Lagipum suaminyer ada kan...suaminyer lah kena sibuk prepare, tak gitu Iwan?

My parents cooked spagetti, the improvised version that is. The spicy and malay version. Nice, sedap mami dgn abah masak.

And Iwan bought the cake. American Chocolate that is. But the cuties were the excited ones mengalahkan the birthday girl. And if I forgot to mention to you all, I don't like chocolate and I don't eat chocolate tapi gemuk gak kan?

Next birthday to be celebrated...my better half...nak gi mana yer...

My dad's birthday

My apology for not being able to do entries more frequently. The internet service has been very bad and I gave up being on line and trying to do more auto published entries. Hence, just managed to do one before I leave for work. I am also still actively working on the new 2 blogs that I mentioned earlier.

Well, how was was my dad's birthday. It was quite ok. Since my mom is not well, we decided not to eat out, just a quiet ta-pau dinner. I bought sate, mee hoon goreng, roti nan with tandoori and of course a birthday, which was chosen by my hero. That explains the Robin picture on the cake.

The cuties were excited to have this celebration. They helped to set the table and in making sure things are done smoothly. After performing maghrib prayers, we gather at the dining area for doa recital and makan time!

My hero recited the doa makan while Iwan did the long doa selamat part. I hope one day, my hero would be able to resume his Pak Usu's position and recite the doa instead.

Kesian Anis. Drooling over the food served. Sabar yer sayang, when you are old enough, you will joining us at the dining table.

And here my hero handing in the birthday card signed by all 3 of them for his Atok. My dad keep on teasing him saying this must be a blank cheque where he can write whatever figure he wants...

What did I get my dad? That will be in the next entry. TUNGGU!!!!

It's official, we haven't lost it!

Iwan and wife came back quite late so we helped to take care of Anis. We are ok with that, since his wife's always takes care of the cuties if we need to run some errands. And Anis is just the cutest!!!

Anis looked sleepy so we tried some Islamic lullaby and she was about to dozz off. I need to perform maghrib prayers so I hand her over to my better half for him to take over. He still got his touch. After I am done with my prayers, I wanted to take over, but my better half has succeed to make her sleep.

We do want another baby, actually 2 more before I'm 40. We felt 3 is still a small number so we agreed on 5. But, we have to put this on hold for awhile at least until next year for me to complete my Masters.

But, we are so glad to know, we haven't lost it....

Happy Birthday Dear Brother

Yesterday for iftar we celebrated Iwan's birthday. For those who don't know who's Iwan, he is my youngest brother. He is also a frequent reader of this blog - he better be otherwise banyak allocation will be revoked...muahahaha!!!

My dad will only cook for special occassion and yesterday for some reason was considered to be one. My dad's speciality among others are Nasi Ayam and Ikan Bawal Sweet and Sour and he cooked both yesterday.

We arrived just a few minutes after the azan maghrib. As usual, traffic was a hell!!!!

When we arrived, the cuties and the rest were already eating. So, we grab a plate each since tengah lapo giler and the food was so very tempting...

After the delicious meal, it's the cake cutting ceremony, chewah! My baby sang the loudest and ignored her Pak Usu's remark about her vouce...Pak Usu cakap pitching larilah!!!

And my hero prepared a card for his Pak Usu. Though Pak Usu make fun of the card cause Pak Usu was spelled PAKUSU, my hero is so used to this kind of teasing and replied, itupun untung abang buat card untuk Pak Usu tau!!! Ha...kena sejibik...

I was so full after that but cannot rest, cause last night was the sending of all the kuih ordered. We completed the whole process at 1am!!! For those who supported the business, thank you so much for purchasing the kuih muih. Insyallah, if everything goes well, next year we shall continue with the business.

Argh!!! Ngantuk!!! But rezeki hari raya kan, so I am so thankful for it...

Buka puasa @ BSP

We spent last weekend at BSP and we invited Iwan to come along. We were told Anis is now much chubbier than the last time we saw him. I so look forward to that.

We went to the market earlier to buy the stuff for the buka puasa. Iwan is a fan of siakap fish so we bought that just for him.

I cooked several dishes, the main ones are siakap masak cili and sup sayur.

Of course there are other dishes such as ikan kering and ayam goreng.

Niece Anis Umairah

The earlier posting on the new addition of our family.

We were invited for the bercukur jambul ceremony last Sunday. It started at 11am, we were late, got some work to do at Bangi.

The ceremony was held at Iwan's father in law's house, where Nija was serving her confinement.

An aqiqah was also performed, a lamb was slaughtered and then BBQed...(got such word or not?) It was delicious, just like how I like it.

We wanted to hold Anis but she was asleep so we just took a peek in the buaian.

As mentioned earlier, my baby said she is ok to have a new born in our family, I guess she underestimated herself. While we peeking and poking the baby, she announced that it is time to leave. She insisted we leave now, we will be late for the birthday party which is about 3 hours from that time. Now we know, she is actually not ready, she was literally on her papa's back, dragging him out of the house....Jeles ler tu...

We're then making our way home to Kelana Jaya to change to attend a birthday party....heading for the Stadium!!!

My new love

Introducing the current apple of my eye, my cute and adorable niece, Anis Umairah.

She is currently residing at her grandparents house aka Iwan's inlaws in Kajang. We went to visit her last Sunday.

My mom bought Anis a playpen. She(by definition my mom not Anis who is too young to get excited) was so excited and insisted for Iwan to assemble the playpen immediatedly cause she wants to see her grand daughter to be in there.

Meanwhile, my baby proudly announced she is ready to have a baby in our family. I quote "Mama, baby rasa baby dah ready nak ada baby, so boleh lah kita ada baby yer".

Amboi, ingat nak ada baby nie macam beli barang kat kedai ke?

The real question is.....Am I ready to have another baby???
