Hidup bermasyarakat - Part 2

We were invited to attend a birthday party for our neighbour's grandaughter. And I am still trying to improve my hidup bermasyarakat skill hence decided to attend the party. Furthermore, this neighbour without fail have attended the 2 kenduri that we organised last year. It will not be nice if we don't attend their event.

The event was on Sunday 3pm. We were so tight up doing house work that we forgot about the time. By the time we realised, it's already 2.30pm. We quickly perform Zuhur prayer and then off to the nearest toy store to get a birthday gift. We got a big Minnie Mouse toy, by the way. Forgot to take the photo, was rushing to the party.

By the time we arrived, around 3.20pm, the party was about to start. There were lots of food, from nasi beriani, to fried meehoon and of course finger food for the kids(and applicable to adult as well). Pasta was also served. Hmmmm...Yummie...

The cute birthday girl was wearing like a tinkerbell costume. My baby was asking why did she want to look like butterfly....Apalah baby nie, mind her, she is not into this girly stuff.

The cake was delicious, what do you expect, Secret Recipe ma!

While the adult chit chat and catch up with the latest neighbourhood gossip, the kids were playing with balloons outside.

I'm glad I attended this party. I got to know my neighbour better, the crowd was rather small compared to the other neighbourhood functions I've attended before. We exchange phone numbers and its a good thing, at least bile emergency, adalah tempat nak mintak tolong.

Who ever say hidup bermasyarakat is a bad thing!
