Last Sunday, after having mee rebus all day long, we thought of having something light and simple for early dinner. The weather was cold, it's been raining quite consistantly everyday, especially after Asar and it will continue to rain all night long.
So, goreng pisang it is.....
First, the pisang is dipped in the bater, usually I will mixed wheat flour with rice flour, add little tumeric powder and salt.
Then, fry it in the pan. Deep fry would be the best. The fire need not to be so big, otherwise the pisang will only be cooked on the outside not inside. But, not to small, the pisang will absorb oil instead.
Being married to a Johorean, I will need to prepare sambal kicap to be eaten with the goreng pisang. Otherwise, tak kick!
The cuties loved this very much, and they love to eat this while it's hot. So, cannot use fingers lah, have to use the fork.
Pisang panas served with nescafe panas in a cold weather....best kan?
