Bowling tournament

Last Saturday there was a bowling tournament organised by our company at Mid Valley. As you know, my better half works on Saturday so it's just me and the cuties.
We had breakfast together though at my better half's office's coffee shop. I don't really like the food so I tapau something for the cuties. Nasi lemak has always been their favourite food.
And how did our team do??
Bukan nak berlagak kan but kalau dah terror harus lah jadik champion!!!! Rumah lain, makan kasut lah!!!!(Thanks Hafiz for the pics, I forgot to take the camera from my better half)
Jangan marah yer........

Bowling action

As bloged earlier, we had our bowling tournament(actually, I prefer to use the word competition, tournament sounded so.....professional!!) last Saturday at Cosmic Bowl.
First and foremost, I want to comment about the alley. Not that the alley was that bad, but I prefer the one at Sunway Pyramid, where I bowled earlier with my better half. The bowling ball was not that good, adeler pecah skit sana sini, and the alley was also not as good...I hesitate to say anything about this, people may have the impression...macam terror je minah nie!!
Breakfast dulu, makan bersama tak kira opponent or team sendirik, semangat kesukanan babe!
At the entrance, sape lagik kalau bukan K Red and Azrul, my blogger frens, cum workmate...Let the game begin!!!I did not do too bad, better than last year and better than the other day I had the so called practise with my better half, on average scored about 100 plus skit per game. Ok ler tu kan, usually 70-80 jer...That's a progress kan...
I always wondered this 2 things...
Why do people use powder during bowling, baby powder lak tu...Seeing people did that, I did that too, tak terror gak. I did asked and was told, entah ler, org buat so we all pun buat ler, can someone tell me the rationale of this action.

And why do people use the cloth to wipe the balls. Is is because the ball is dirty or because to smoothen the ball. Again, I I followed the practise, again I don't find that improved my game. Again, I asked around, and again the same answer given above, so again, if you know why, please let me know...again.....
What I heard, unofficially, our team got second. Waiting for the confirmation....Or can again someone please confirm this for me...

Not to make a complete fool out of myself

I am never a good bowler, but love the game. This Saturday, there will be a bowling tournament organised by our Sports Club, part of the on going sports carnival. My main objective, actually 2 main objectives...
1. Not to make a complete fool out of myself (that explains the long title)
2. For my team not to loose because I suck!!!
So, after this event...(event ke?), my better half decided to teach me a thing or 2 about bowling.
We went to the alley at Pyramid, nearest to our home and we don't have to rush back later to pick up the cuties from school.
I did pretty ok, not too bad but of course not that good either...
Self reminder, to keep the hand straight, jgn bengkok2...

Bowling time

More quality time with the cuties, what fun!!!

We took the cuties to The Cineleisure next to the The Curve to bowl. It's been quite sometime since we did that. We haven't been to this bowling alley as our usual spot are Summit USJ or One Utama. We decided to give this a try.

The traffic was quite bad but we predicted that considering it's a norm that during public holidays normal people like us would crowd the nearest shopping center. We were told that this alley is own by the national bowler, Shalin Zulkifli. It's called Pin Junction. While bowling, we saw her there...

My hero in action, gaya mesti ada!!
The result , my baby won(despite using both hands to bowl)!! She got 100 points and while my hero got 86 and the princess 84. I think we're going to come here more often since this place is not as crowded as the other alleys.

My better half coaching my princess, he is a good bowler himself..

Then we decided to just walk around The Curve, quite dissapointed though as there is no flea market today here. We love to shop at the flea market. The only ones open for business is at the Cineleisure itself.

We also saw the Alien vs Predator mascot. And they thought they can scare the cuties, well, how wrong can they be. They did try, however instead of feeling scared, the cuties were making attempts to hold them. Ha ha ha!!!

Smile for the camera Mr Alien...

The finale was the clown when we were about to leave. Balloons given away and semacho2 my hero, he is afraid of balloon, can't blame him, I think he got that from me :)

Hope to have more of this kind of activities with the cuties....before they'll be too embarass to walk with their parents....
