Fish Spa - Again

Last weekend the cuties we literally begging me to take them to the fish spa. They enjoyed the first session we had @ OU so they wanted to go through the same experience again.
The nearest fish spa that I have encountered would be the one @ Giant Nilai. The price was the same, RM5 for 10 minutes.
Once we entered Giant, the cuties ran to that place. I have yet to pay and they already dipped in their feet in the fish pond. Harus nak kena marah bebudak nie.
I was not really in the mood for this at that moment so I gave this a pass. So was my better half. We just sat there and watch the cuties having fun.
I also learnt there's a fish spa @ KLCC Aquaria. Perhaps, masa stress2 kerja can consider that as a therapy. May be very soon cause big work project is really around the corner!

Sunday groceries day

Once every two weeks, we will make a trip to Giant in Nilai to top up our groceries stock. Some essentials items are cereals, biscuits, nuggets, fries and many more. Giant is about 15 minutes drive from our home hence the nearest and most convenient place to get all the items we need.
This was done last week(Mother's Day week). Wanted to blog about it earlier but no time lah. It was actually a public holiday, Wesak Day so my better half was at home, usually he works on Saturdays.
My hero and my baby watching cakes and bread being prepared at the window while waiting for my better half was taking the car. Good news for me, at least that can keep them entertained while waiting for my better half. Otherwise, they will be running here and there and I will need to chase after them. Sape cakap anak dah besar senang nak manage huh?
The menu for that day was Nasi Ayam. Look out for the next entry on the Nasi Ayam lunch...hmmmm, yummy!!!!

Pay-For-Performance

Being a HR practitioner so to speak, I sometimes try to use the so called HR practises as much as possible. One of the most common HR thingy is the Pay-For-Performance part.

The cuties did very well for the 1st semester exam, better than what we expected. Me and my better half felt guitly a bit, we really under estimated the cuties but then again, we were managing our expectations so that we don't be so dissapointed - another good HR practise...Managing Expectations :)
We decided to reward them by taking them out for dinner. With all this cost cutting measures that we have put in place, we did not eat out for the past 2 weeks. And this is a special occassion, so what the heck!
My princess got the best result among the 3, she got the privilege to choose the venue. And she chose The Chicken Rice Shop. We went to the one in Giant KJ.
They were very happy and we chatted and talked and eat and chatted and eat some more. Surprisingly, the whole dinner period, no argument aka fight erupted. No, none, zit! That'll be the first ever!!
Maybe if you don't get to do somethings often, that thing become a luxury...Cost cutting is definately a good thing to our family...

8 days to Raya

My better half and I had made this agreement, Yang, abang kemas rumah and you will prepare the sahur i.e. I will only wake up and eat. This agreement was made after his objection of outsourcing the cleaning up as he felt not only it's a waste of money but the work done is not up to his standard. I, of course, agree to this. Tak larat akak nak mengemas satu rumah, menggosok, membasuh, menyidai and melipat baju pun dah bertimbun! So, my better half started this job delegation thingy since Monday and alhamdulilah the house now is 70% spotless.

Me and the girls made another trip to Arzu, I am not looking for anything in particular, just nak menghabiskan break time and need the heat since the office is freaking cold. Babe acted as the fashion consultant to Ms Preggy, Ms Ally Mcbeal, GTL and Cik Puan Ambang came along as well. I just bought the anak tudung, I don't find anything that I like today.
Matching tak tudung nie dengan baju Lizkelangborne tu!
GTL was kind enough to help me to tukar duit raya. Kalau tak jenuh gak akak nak memikir camne nak tuko duit nie!
I think it has been a trend in our family when Raya is fast approaching, we will be eating out most of the time. This is because we will save the energy for us to clean up the house. So, yesterday's venue was at Pizza Hut since the cuties have been pestering me for this.
This is my princess bergaduh and tak puas hati face and when she said "asik akak je yang salah!"
I don't actually like eating here during fasting month, the food always arrived late and this time was not an exception. We ordered the food at 6.30pm and it arrived only an hour later. So, we buka pose with Pepsi and mushroom while waiting for the rest of the food. The cuties were restless.
Mama, kita makan mushroom soup je ker?
I was trying to calm myself down and not to be angry due to this. Finally the food arrived. Notice the before and after face of my princess!!
After the frustrating buka pose, we went to Shah Alam to send my sista to her hostel and before that we dropped by at Giant Shah Alam, we still haven't found the right baju melayu for my hero. Mummy Sally told me she got her sons baju at Giant so we decided to go there. We looked at Subang Parade and did not find anything that we wanted. And our search at Giant also failed. Tapi the counter zakat was open and to avoid paying them at last hour, we did that there...
