Terawih @ Masjid Putrajaya

We were very fortunate as we get to the chance to perform the Terawih prayers at Putrajaya Mosque last Sunday. We thought to make this Ramadhan a more variety Ramadhan, not only the iftar menu, also where we have the Terawih. However, this can only be done over the weekend as the cuties will still need to sleep early on the weekdays. Dah ler kena bangun sahur kan?
We arrived quite late, the Isya' azan was already on air. Parking was a big issue, we couldn't get one so my better half dropped me and the girls first while he and my hero looked for a parking spot. He got one, right in front on PM's gate house.
The mosque is so beautiful. It's so huge and cozy. When we arrived were alot of jemaah there. And it's a combination of international jemaah. The ablution place was at the basement, again very convenient.
After terawih, we took the cuties for a walk at Dataran Putrajaya. It was Merdeka eve, so some where gathering there for the Merdeka countdown.
Some pics taken that nite...
Next on the list, Masjid Besi Putrajaya this weekend, Insyallah!!

A big event

I was very occupied last week. We were very busy preparing for a big event. For those who have read the newspaper and watched the news would have came across this event.

The preparation started since Monday but the peak of the preparation only started on Thursday. We spent so many hours at Putrajaya doing rehersals and accomodating to last minutes changes. And when I say last minute, I do mean last minute. There were even changes 2 hours before the event started! Can you imagine that, you have to be on top of your toes all the time.

We were working and working all the time. On Thursday, we had our dinner at 10pm and I went back only at 1am to know that I have to wake up early and be at Putrajaya very early the next morning. But, the team was so dedicated and I am very proud to be part of the team.

I have organised many events before hence I can see I am calmer handling crisis. I don't get panick attacks anymore even when the MC lost his scripts one hour before the event was about to start! I guess practise do makes perfect.
I insisted to take this pic with Amizi, the man of the event. The one who was giving the gift to the DPM and later had a real conversation with him. His name was even printed on the newpapers. How cool is that!
I love doing events but I know I am more than that. I can do more and I want to do more. That is why I have chosen the future career path that I am about to pursue now. I know I am an intelligent person, I know am more than capable to handle all the stress and I know I can be if not at par, better than those who felt I am a stupid person who can't even be near their achievement.

This is not the old Liza who will be sad and depress and felt she is now good enough for the position. This is the new Liza and you better watch out cause if you mess with her, you are so not gonna like her!

p/s : If you haven't notice, I have lost more weight. Total loss now is 8 kg and I am very proud of myself!

A nite @ Putrajaya - The bridge

After dinner@Alamanda, we thought to just drive around Putrajaya enjoying the night view. We drove through the Government building which I usually attend meetings at during the day. We also drove through the parks in Putrajaya, the mosques and other interesting buildings.
Then, we stopped and park at the road side on the Putrajaya bridge. We have been seeing this bridge in pictures, movies and posters and never been here in person. And there were lots of other cars also parked here. Some with families, some "bertenet" and there were also individuals who just sat around, some sort like in deep thought.
The cuties have always been creative in inventing their own games. They managed to play slides with the steels of the bridge. Ada2 aje kan.
After quite sometime here, we decided to go home, it's quite late already. While we were making our way out of the bridge, we noticed there was a police patrol car who requested for all those who parked their cars to remove them. Kesian kan, baru nak enjoy the night view, dah kena halau...
We just have one more day, Sunday, before the cuties started schooling. I felt I am more nervous than the cuties, they appeared to be excited to meet their friends again. Mak nyer yang over kan!

A nite @ Putrajaya - Alamanda

It's nearing the day for the cuties to report back to school. We have made the necessary preparations. All books have been purchased, uniforms have been ironed and other related stuff has been settled as well.
We have been staying @ BSP for nearly 6 months but never lepak at Putrajaya, which is about 15 minutes drive from our home. We only been to Putrajaya for this.
So, last weekend, we decided to go to Putrajaya, just to see what this place can offer us.
Our first stop was to Alamanda. We left after maghrib prayer so had our dinner there, at the Rasa Foodcourt.
Next....
The attractions at Putrajaya!!!

redmummy.com Potluck - The real thing!

I was actually very excited to be part of this event. Meeting those whom I have only known on-line is very exciting to me, at the same time, I was nervous. What if they don't like me and what if I look fatter than I am in my blog...And my better half thought I am being ridicilous...

We first attended a kenduri invited by our next lane neighbour.

Then, back home, to fry the chicken wing and chicken drummet as per what I have given to the GBM (that stands for Gang Bas Merah, mcm the show kat Astro Ceria lak kan, Geng Bas Sekolah). I cooked about 60 pieces, being an experience potluck attendees, I know not to cook too much since I anticipated loads of food.

We arrived around 4.15pm and the cuties slept all the way from home to the Putrajaya which was only . And thanks to Sirman for the directions and waited for us at the entrance of the park, otherwise we will be going round and round and round...then gets hungry and eat our own food...by the way, when my better half saw Sirman with the tag, he asked me, "Nama dia Sirman(baca secara baku yer) ke? Bukan Ami..."...Sorry yer, my better half is not into this blog thing, he is here to support the event.

The rest was a fun and awesome event. Just look at all the pics.

The cuties had fun (yelah, menang mcm2, kalau tak menang, sure rusuhan berlaku) and I had a blast, having to meet fellow bloggers). And I got to meet Atty for the first time, I read her blog everyday and felt like I know her instantly. Anak dara dia, punyer lah cun!

Kudos to the 5 ladies namely :

It was lovely meeting all of you....

Of course to lil^red for the cool goodie bags, macam2 ada dalam itu goodie bag...for adult takde ke?
