Little Penang Cafe KLCC - venue which prooves I'm a lembab blogger

I got the text message from this young lady wanting to meet for lunch with the objective to deliver the scarves from Tie Rack ~ that is according to her. Being an innocent and naive person, I believe her suci murni intention, I said ok and we set a date. Of course, tak sah ler kalau tak invite the Red Mummy, nanti tak happening ler the lunch.

So there we were, walking towards the location to meet, dah ler K Red memberi sedas dua kata2 lasernyer " Bila ko nak tutup blog ko?" while I was trying to justify how hectic my life is. Siap buat muka kesian lagik.

Then we met Si Ayu Solo, the mastermind of this whole thing. Her food arrived the same time we arrived so don't blame me for not suspecting anything. Then while we were enjoying our food, I nearly choked when K Red was screaming "Aku dah agak dah" and that's when the little sister whom we missed so much appear right in front of our eyes. Apa lagik, sessi peluk memeluk and buat restoran macam rumah sendiri bermulalah....

And why does this proof I am a lembab blogger.......

Cause this event happened nearly a week ago and I am just blogging about it now...HAHAHA!!!!

Jamboree - The preparation

We had this annual company event called the Jamboree. This event is to educate each other what others in the company are doing hence to give a better understanding and to create a non-sylo culture.

This year is the second year this event is organise. Last year was not a good year for our division, mainly we did not get the message given by the organising committee on many things with regards to the Jamboree. So, we thought we need to make up for last year defeat and do something meaningful this year.

The preparation was really tiring. If I am tired, I am sure the other team members whom I felt contributed more were more tired than me, namely our creative director, Mizi and producer, Ijlal. They have been working hard day and nite to ensure victory for our booth.

We have chosen the theme Headhunt, which suits one of the very many HR roles very well. To jive with this theme, we planned to decorate the booth like a jungle. We also started distributing the teaser, BBW...aka bulu berbau wangi...The final result was simply amazing!

I did not snap any photos on the event day itself, was very busy running around playing a dual role as the coordinator for my division as well as the working committee for the organiser. If I receive any photos from other, I will share them with you, just managed to cilok photo taken with K Red in front of our booth. Jangan marah yer K Red.

I was very exhausted and just wanted to crash on my bed by the time the event ended. And the best thing is WE WON THE BEST BOOTH AWARD!!!! Bestnyer!!!!!!

redmummy.com Potluck - The real thing!

I was actually very excited to be part of this event. Meeting those whom I have only known on-line is very exciting to me, at the same time, I was nervous. What if they don't like me and what if I look fatter than I am in my blog...And my better half thought I am being ridicilous...

We first attended a kenduri invited by our next lane neighbour.

Then, back home, to fry the chicken wing and chicken drummet as per what I have given to the GBM (that stands for Gang Bas Merah, mcm the show kat Astro Ceria lak kan, Geng Bas Sekolah). I cooked about 60 pieces, being an experience potluck attendees, I know not to cook too much since I anticipated loads of food.

We arrived around 4.15pm and the cuties slept all the way from home to the Putrajaya which was only . And thanks to Sirman for the directions and waited for us at the entrance of the park, otherwise we will be going round and round and round...then gets hungry and eat our own food...by the way, when my better half saw Sirman with the tag, he asked me, "Nama dia Sirman(baca secara baku yer) ke? Bukan Ami..."...Sorry yer, my better half is not into this blog thing, he is here to support the event.

The rest was a fun and awesome event. Just look at all the pics.

The cuties had fun (yelah, menang mcm2, kalau tak menang, sure rusuhan berlaku) and I had a blast, having to meet fellow bloggers). And I got to meet Atty for the first time, I read her blog everyday and felt like I know her instantly. Anak dara dia, punyer lah cun!

So, next year organise lagik yer...akak biasa ler, sekadar watak tempelan tolong skit2 tu boleh ler....

I didn't get to view my blog today and just got to do it very late...and terkejut giler tiba2 ramai lak yg singgah...
