Relax sat at the bakery

We were exhausted with all the walking done that day. Okaylah, I was the exhausted one. The rest were still very much energetic. However, my baby is already hungry and she wanted to have food.
My better half has always been a fan of bakeries. He loves going to bakeries and would make it a point to stop at a bakery whenever we have our outings.

So, we dropped by at this bakery(ntah apa namanyer) and they were having this school holidays promo, most of the items are sold ar RM1 only. Apa lagik, we started to choose the savoury and pastry that we like.
We lepak there for about 30 minutes....and then more walking.........

A fish spa experience

While walking around OU, we came across this Fish Spa place and decided to give it a try. Moreover, the legs were already tired from all the walking done and it will be a good thing to relax and have a break while trying this new thing. The price was not that expensive.
The cuties were very excited, but my princess was very ticklish and the first few minutes were spent with her screaming and laughing as and when her feet enter the water.
My baby, as usual, fearless and I was afraid she would jump in the pool. While we were in this spa, my hero was telling us information about this fish like what fish is this, where it came from and the benefit. Gosh, he sure knows alot....
This is my feet relaxing. I nearly doze off, must be feeling really tired.(Sila abaikan kaki yg sebesar kayu balak itu yer...)
We look forward to try this again. If I'm not mistaken, there's one near our house...So, this weekend nak try ok kot?

Birthday Meal

Of all the places my hero can choose to eat for his birthday, he insisted we eat at KFC. I offered Chillis, TGIF, Swensen and many other places but he still wanted KFC. Why KFC, I have no idea and when I asked him, he just felt like having KFC. With that answer, I stopped asking....
We had the KFC at OU right after the science adventure. The crowd was not that pack so it was quite comfy to eat there. I was already tired so having meals at a fast food outlet where I have to que for food is just not what I was looking forward too. But, since this was the birthday boy choice, we went along with it.
My hero, as usual, being the hero in the family, make sure that the needs of his sibblings are well taken care off. That includes making sure the chilli sauces are able to come out from the bottle. Once everybody settled down, he recited the prayer and only then we can eat.
My hero told me he had a great time and this was like the best birthday ever....but then again, he said that every year. It's either the birthday celebration we planned for him is getting better each year or he is just being polite and grateful for all the things we are doing for him.
With that, I thank Allah for all the blessings....

I know what we did last Wednesday

Remember this special event?
Well, we started the day, of course by pretending to the cuties we were working that day. They were quite suspicious though as I was wearing jeans to work. For my better half that's a norm, he always wear jeans to work.
The theme of the day, by the way, is to go and enjoy food at places that we can't go during normal days...
So, the first venue was breakfast at SS19. I love the soto here. The best I have tasted so far. We also spent sometime reading the newspaper, again, something we have not done for quite sometime.
Then, we went to OU for some shopping action. I bought 2 blouses and 2 track bottoms. Wanted to buy more but was rushing to the next location.
Lunch was at Ikan Bakar Jalan Bellamy. With the diet program still in force, I had a fish and a cuttlefish minus the rice. Memang sedap and terangkat!
We headed to Sunway Pyramid just to lepak. Walked around and finally felt tired and had coffee at J.Co. Had a good conversation with each other, an interrupted one, something rare if we have the cuties around.
But, a mother will always be a mother. By 3pm, I was missing my cuties. We called my parents and told them we are picking the cuties and will be making our way to BSP. Baby siap ponteng skolah half day lagik!
Personally, I felt this kind of outing is very important to our marriage. Sometimes, we are so busy with our life juggling between career and family that we tend to neglect the better half. We also have marked in our calendar for the next session for 2009...
In a nutshell, I had an awesome day!

While the cuties are out

Amboi, kuningnyer otak yer...while the cuties where out for a day full of fun, Papa and Mama went to do what they do best...SHOPPING!!!!
First stop was at the Guardian Warehouse Sale. This was held at D Kelana Hall, near Kelana Jaya Stadium. Logistically, very strategic as it was not too far from Holiday Villa.
However, the sale was so dissapointing. Most of the products are about to expire either late December 2008 or late Jan 2009. Talk about stock clearing. And the stuff sold were not impressive to me. I saw this pyjamas on sale and thought of buying them for the cuties. My jaw dropped as I saw how much it cost. RM39.90???!!!! I can get cheaper during Isetan Sale ok???
So, we left only with chocolates for the cuties and a lipstick for me. Total for all the products bought tak sampai RM10.
Next stop, we went to this Travel Fair at the Car Park of One Utama (I have always call this place OU). Again, another dissapointment. The travel packages offered ( all domestic by the way) were not that cheap. I can even get this cheaper from the internet. The tent for the travel was so canggih giler but, the ventilation inside there was horrible. Panas giler ok!!! Such a waste cause I saw many people left early as it was hot....The only good thing here was when my better half participated in this grab all you can game. Ada lah dapat a hand fan, window shield and something you put on the car dashboard so that stuff you put on it won't slide. Apa ntah nama benda tu.
My better half was craving for pizza so we had our lunch at Shakeys. I always felt Shakey's Pizza is much better than Pizza Hut and Dominos. Too bad many of the Shakey's franchises been turned to Dominos. Their friend chicken has always been my old time favourite.
After lunch, we walked around OU and became a paparazzi of the Digi Man. Pathetic giler kan we all nie??
Nope, we did not buy anything. As much as we enjoyed our time together, we missed the cuties already. We then left for Holiday Villa, we don't want to miss the cuties prize giving ceremony!!!

Lego land...

This entry is for my best fren, Fahmy...who loves Lego(still ke?)
Huiyooooo.....Lego everywhere!!!!!!!!!!
This was after we celebrated my hero's birthday. They had this logo exhibition thingy at OU. They put all this Legos into about 10 areas and provided the design for those who wish to try and play with this. We took the centre corner. While we were just starting, the rest of the team were half way done.
I just have to tell you this. Next to our place, there's this 3 kids, I think sibblings. They were about 60% done and then they started fighting and throwing the lego to each other. The eldest boy started to shout and cry, while the girl was throwing the lego at him. He did the same too. The ToysRUs people broke the fight and the boy was bleeding. I think the lego made a cut on his forehead. Wah, people can be so passionate about lego yer....
Lego is good to enhance children creativity and perhaps architech in the making, but this is bad for the parents. Penat nak kemas, nanti ada lah a few under the bed, bawah bantal dan sebagainyer...
I forgot to tell you one story...
While driving back after dinner, my baby insisted that she wanted to show the direction to go back home. So, mulalah dia membebel, kiri papa, kanan pulak, straight jer tau.....
Then we arrived at this junction, while waiting for the traffic light turn green, my better half teased her saying that "Papa rasa jalan baby tunjuk nie salahlah".
Immediately she said, "Kan papa selalu ajar baby, kalau benda salah, jangan ikut, kita kena ikut benda yang betul. Kalau baby salah, kenapa papa ikut tadik?
Pandai anak mama yer.......
