Hot FM Masyuk!!!!

I am a fan of Hot FM and it's a must for me to listen to them on the way to work and on the way back from work. Love the celoteh by Fara Fauzana aka Fafau and Faisal Ismail (FBI) and though stuck in traffic on the way back, listening to Jawa Rangers make me smile.

I always wanted to enter contest offered by Hot FM but the line is like impossible for us to get through. Now, they are having this new contest Hot FM Panggilan Masyuk. Every slot offer RM700 for the lucky person chosen via sms and when the person receive the call, the person supposed to answer the phone according to the name of the show on air at that time. I think that is so creative to make people not to stop listening to the radio.

Registration done via sms and I have done so. But, my hectic schedule don't usually permit me to listen to radio all the time. When I get the chance, will surely listen via my MP3 player.

Hot FM!!!! Call me ya!!!! I want to win the RM700!!!!!

Busy is my middle name

For now that is!

I'm really super freaking busy, and the funny thing is, I'm not exhausted.

Working on this 2 big projects and organizing 2 big events, all happening in one week. I'm nervous yet excited.

Did some autopublish entry, Insyallah can cover for the next few days.

Sticky Mode - 2nd Year Anniversary Contest

I just realised in less than 2 weeks time, this blog of mine will turn 2.

Yup, 2 years old.

If this were to be compared to an infant, I will probably walking but not as fast as I want to be. I would be eager to run, but will constantly be reminded by those who are around me not to be too fast and take it one step at a time.

Well, I do want to be a successful blogger, I can't lie. And I know I am working hard to be one. This is one step for me to reach my dream, to be a full time mother, to work from home and focus on my family.

Princess Nasyid's Competition

Another hectic weekend indeed. Just when we thought we can wake up late this weekend, we just have to put that on hold, at least not on Saturday.

The way the day started was very funny. In the letter from my princess's school stated the venue of the event will be at Sekolah Alam Shah and did not indicate where is the school. And I thought it was the school located in Putra Jaya.

The event was supposed to start at 8am and we arrived right in front of the school 5 minutes before 8am. The school was pretty quiet, like nothing is happening in the school. We asked the guard and he has no clue what event we are talking about. My princess not having any contact numbers of the teachers or her friends was certainly no helping. I then decided to call the school and alhamdulilah somebody answered. But the person was not sure where exactly the event was at so she gave me the ustazah's hubby's phone number(that's what she declared to school...shish!). Called the hubby and finally got hold of the ustazah's number. Then only I got to know.....The school is actually Sekolah Alam Shah 2 in PETALING JAYA NOT PUTRA JAYA!!! Haiyooo, jauh tu. Sempat ke sampai before the contest start.

If there is anytime I am glad people are not punctual, this will be the time. We arrived around 9.15am and the event hasn't even started. As usual, waiting for the VIP to arrive to launch the event....Lama giler tu...We even get to have breakfast at the school's canteen.

The event went very well. Though my princess did not win anything, I am so happy and proud of her. Was holding my tears when she was doing her solo. Never thought she has so much of self confidence...My hero and my baby were also amazed with their sister's performance. Duduk pun first class, right in front of the stage.

We allowed the cuties to go back to school via the school bus. They wanted to do that so badly so, don't want to dissapoint. We then picked them up at school.
On the way back home, mentally doing the checklists of things to do...Banyak nyer..

1. I can buy more cheaper nice clothes, usually the stores only sell this type for smaller ladies.

2. I can fit into those Dorothy Perkins sexy jeans(which I can't afford right now and may be able to afford once I'm thin enough)

3. I can squeeze into the already packed LRT. Currently, having difficulty in that area, always have to wait for the next trains.

4. My better half can carry me, just like how he always did before, nowadays, I think I can carry him instead.

5. I can have a boost to my low self esteem...

Why I need the bag so badly!!!(notice I replace the word want to need, that carries more weight right?)

You see, ever since we bought this house in BSP, we really have to tighten our belts with our expenses. What makes it worse, the school here is not ready yet and this only mean more travelling for us. That, by definition waking up at 5am, leaving the house at 6am, drive about 40km to KJ and pay about RM5.20 for toll charges, then headed to the LRT station and take one to KLCC. At the end of office hour, the reverse applies. Now LRT from KLCC to KJ, pick the kids from school then back to BSP. Another 40km of mileage and RM5.20 for toll charges. See the total expense in one month, you do the math.

This will of course having me to slash my budget for my usual stuff like handbags, shoes...yada yada yada. I have always believe in rewarding myself at the end of the month but not to the expense of the kids not getting what they want. So, it will be a HUGE GIGANTIC favour if I can have one bag without hurting my current budget. Puhleasssssssssseeeeeeee(if you have a webcam, you will see how pathetic I look now).

I finally won something

I hardly win prizes, be it a normal contest, lucky draw lagi ler jauh sekali. Even there's this one event I attended 80% of the attendees stand a chance to win something for the lucky draw prizes and I still fall under the unlucky 20% bunch. If you talk about prizes, the one that I usually get will be those buy this get that free, ala macam beli ubat gigi dapat pinggan and that's about it!

So, when I won something during this event, a contest which was annouced later after the event, I was more than excited, I was very very very excited. Finally I am winning something. It doesn't really matter what I won, what matter is I won something.
