Company's Open Day - Spending the whole day with the cuties

I was not sure at first whether I should participate in this event. My better half couldn't get the day off that day and I don't think I can manage the whole day out with the cuties all by myself. Those who think having a day out with school going kids are much easier than having much younger kids, you will know how wrong you are when your kids reach the school going age. It will not only be physically challenge, mentally as well.

The cuties have to wake up early if we want my better half to drop us off. As predicted, it was not a problem to wake the cuties up since they know they will be doing something fun. Very much contradicts if I were to wake them up to go to school.

We reached office around 7.10am and waited for the bus to bring us to the other office in Plaza Sentral. The bus was supposed to leave at 7.30am and again as predicted many people just choose not to respect people's time and decide to arrive fashonably late causing us those who are punctual to be penalised again!! Dah ler lapo!!

We took this opportunity to take photos around the KLCC lobby. Been working here for the past 4 years but never really spend that much time at the lobby.

The bus finally left few minutes before 8am...

Lots of activities planned by the organiser. Activities which excite the kids and leaving the adults so tired...

What happened during dinner

Finally, got the chance to blog about this. Was down with fever for the last 2 days and was told by my better half my PC and notebook are off limit until I feel better. Thanks sayang for taking care of me...

Back to the dinner, this was my third dinner where I am the head of the unit which organised the dinner. Being part of the organising committee is very taxing and tiring. Every year, I will be telling myself, this will be the last time I am part of the committee, but that's easier said than done.

This year, I did not even have the time to get a costume, let alone a normal dinner dress.

A short dress bought at Isetan at 1.30pm on the same day we have our dinner...normal price RM119.90, less 70% nett price RM35.97

Jeans bought a day earlier from Jusco, normal price RM129 50% discount, nett price RM64.50, did not pay for this by cash though, but via the Jusco vouchers received during my housewarming kenduri.

Shoes from Charles and Keith, bought about a month ago at Pavillion, RM119.60

Tudung from Arzu, it was my lucky day cause Arzu's selendang is never cheap but they were having promotion, RM150 for 5 selendang.

Make up from Mac, complimentary for making this purchase... I love my make up...Even my better half thought I look amazing! If you are thinking of buying Mac, please do go to KLCC and ask for Suzana, she is simply amazing!!!

Yup, after 3 years attending the dinner, first time I won lucky draw. Though the price not so gah mana, RM200 Kino voucher, at least I won something!!!

I did have fun....come to think of it, I think I had too much fun!!! And as cliche as this may sound, I am so not gonna be a commitee member next year!!!

Stress Reliever

I was so stressed out today, been preparing for an important meeting which will be held tomorrow for the past few days. The materials changed so rapidly, next minute this thing, another minute another...

Then, I got this email from my friend and that actually made me smile...Ok, smile is an understatement, laughing histerically was more like it!!

Just look at the cartoons and see whether this can cheer you up like this cheered me up!

Car wash = bonding time

It's been quite sometime since the cuties spent time with my better half washing the car. Ever since us duduk menumpang at my parents' house, we only send the car to car wash centre, it's more convenient that way.

However, last Sunday, they finally got to do this. They woke up quite early, they slept after sahur. When they saw papa start filling the pail with water, they anticipated the action that's gonna happen and wanted a piece of it.

If you ask me, it looks like they are playing with water. But, I love it cause they look like they were having so much fun!

To the new neighbours, sorry yer, pagi2 lagik budak2 tu dah terpekik telolong and ketawa tak hingat! Nasib baik not many have move into the neighbourhood.

Where is the mother? Tidur ler....tak kose nak basuh2 kereta yer...

Genting Trip - The fun part

While waiting for my better half and the cuties to arrive(I was here earlier, remember?), we went to this mamak place(yup, in Genting also got mamak place) at Gohtong Jaya. I was thinking real hard cause that name sounded to familiar, then gave a big smack on my own head...duh!!! Gohtong, Lim Goh Tong ler you idiot!!! By the way, I had nasi lemak panas accompanied by teh tarik...macam kat KL jer kan...

The weather was so gloomy...may be because I am missing my family soo much already....

They arrived around 7 ish...baru ler mama can smile...

After I bath and get them ready, we went for dinner. I have to leave them since there's an activity that nite.

By the time the activity ended, the cuties were already asleep.

The next day, after breakfast, I brought them to the pool before leaving them again with my better half, still got work to do lah...

Spinning Gasing

While mom is experiencing the squash mania, the cuties are having their own new craze as well. But theirs are more traditional than the mom.

They are now into gasing - forgot ler what is it being called in English.

They had one each, and have been playing with it whenever they have completed their work - either school or chores

I have forbidded them from playing in the house as it will ruin my mom marble. Cukup2 ler menjahanamkan rumah wan dgn atok tu...

My hero is better at this then my princess. However, he is not kedekut ilmu one..he taught his sister how to play it. My baby?

She tried it for a while, then she felt.....Tengok TV lagik best....

And why do I say that....

Intro dulu yer...

We had the privileged to attend a Secretaries Week function by AC and Mawi. It was held at Dewan Perdana Felda.

Best ler, siap dapat goodie bag lagik. The theme is black and red.

Yang hampehnyer, supposed start at 12.00pm but we only got to eat nearly 1pm. Event dah ler start lambat so balik pun lambat ler. Supposed to end at 2.30pm but it ended at 4.30pm instead.

And why I said kesian Mawi...Sabo ler, nak criter nie...

We were first entertained by AC. My expectations on him were he is going to be hopeless, crack jokes that he will laugh himself, make a complete fool of himself and over!!! But, this may surprise some people...I was so wrong!!! He was entertaining, lively and sang very well too. My only comment is how I wish he is like this in AF...He started his performance with a brass band marching in and followed by a bunch of dancers imitating cheerleaders...but sorry to say, they look too old to be one...

He was really entertaining, his jokes hit the punch line well and when he did the medley of the songs that were famous while he was with 4U2C, I think that was kind of cool...

Then came Mawi....

And the screamings start...Crowd full of ladies....

He can't even move. He is like sugar surrounded by ants and the so called security is not helping either...Dok kena tarik dgn makcik2 sibuk nak ber gambor...

I really pity him. He tried to perform as well as he can but this crowd is really making it difficult for him. Nak nyanyi pun susah...He had to stop for his pictures to be taken even on stage.
